Born in Japan and raised in Austria, Riho brings a cross-cultural perspective shaped by her second-generation Taiwanese roots.
She entered the film world in 2015 as an interpreter for Japanese television, where her ability to move fluidly between languages and cultures quickly became her signature.
Since 2017, Riho has worked as a local fixer specializing in documentary filmmaking, supporting both international and domestic productions with deep local knowledge and global sensibility.
She also curates for Japanese documentary film festivals, including the Tokyo Documentary Film Festival, helping shape spaces where powerful non-fiction stories can be seen and heard.
Alongside her work in film, Riho composes original music and soundscapes that enhance the emotional dimension of storytelling.
